Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles uncooked

  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 15 oz cans diced tomatoes undrained
  • 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a 9x13 casserole dish and set aside.

  2. Cook noodles to al dente as directed on package

  3. In a 4 quart dutch oven, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Add the onion to the bacon grease and cook until tender. Add tomatoes and italian seasoning and cook over medium heat until sauce starts to thicken. Add bacon back to tomato mixture.

  4. Layer the noodles and sauce in prepared casserole dish. If the sauce is too thick, twist noodles lightly with a fork to spread sauce throughout.

  5. Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes, or until heated through.
